What happens when two small business who have been featured on Wisconsin Foodie get together for a pairing event? Fantastic things! Ryan Castelaz of Discourse Coffee invited Roots Chocolates to Door County to help host a Chocolate and Beer Pairing. Of course we said Yes!
Ryan has a former work life in Beer and is quite the aficionado. We'll be pairing up four very interesting beers with our chocolates. You are sure to have a great time at the new Kress Pavillion in Egg Harbor!

Love is in the air! The love for Bos Meadery mead and Roots Chocolates chocolate, that is. We are bringing our two passions together to tempt your taste buds again this Valentine's Day.
Seating times are 6:00pm and 8:00pm, and there is room for 25 people for each seating. Guests will enjoy 4 mead samples carefully paired with 4 chocolates. Cost is $25 per person. **Ticket sales will end 24 hours prior to the tasting's start.**
So, come out with your partner, your friend, or just treat yourself! Good times and lots of love will be had by all this evening.

This is our fifth year participating in Fermentation Fest Reedsburg and we are very excited to be located in City Park in one of the Wormfarm Institutes Culture Stands. We hope to see you at this exciting event. We will be at City Park from 10am to 4pm each day.
Let's compare the mass market chocolate bars to real chocolate bars. Have you tasted cacao beans before they become chocolate? Did you know cacao is a fermented food? Did you know we make only 50 chocolate bars at a time because we want the beans to speak for themselves?
We will taste roasted and unroasted cacao beans. Then, we will move on to tasting chocolate from various countries. Prepare your palate for chocolate enlightenment on our 4th generation farm!

We will be highlighting our seasonal chocolates with samples of BOS' Seasonal/Session Meads. And we are so excited to invite you to the highest hilltop on our farm for the event (weather permitting)!
We will start with a tour of the farm where I will personally walk you around and show you what we grow. Then, we will progress to the Hilltop for the remainder of the evening.
